ZappoQR
A free, browser-based QR code generator built for speed and privacy: fourteen code types, no signup to create or download, and nothing routed through a server that could go dark later.
The brief
Most QR generators push people toward an account before they can download anything, then route every scan through a tracking redirect that can quietly break years later. ZappoQR needed to earn trust the opposite way: useful with zero friction, honest about how it works.
The approach
We designed the generator to run entirely in the browser — codes are drawn from whatever you type, nothing is uploaded to build them. An account is optional, and only useful once someone is managing enough codes to want a dashboard for them. Every code is static, so it keeps working independent of ZappoQR's own servers.
